Jonah: A Western Romance
About Jonah: A Western Romance
Undercover detective Jonah Stevenson would rather face armed criminals than spend December dressed as Santa Claus in a crowded department store. But after a string of robberies hits Rascal’s biggest retailer, Jonah is ordered to go undercover and catch the thief before Christmas. Playing Santa is humiliating enough.
Falling for his adorable elf helper is even worse. Edie Preston loves everything about Christmas, twinkling lights, holiday music, candy canes, and spreading cheer to every child who visits Santa’s workshop. But this year’s grumpy cowboy Santa is acting far too suspicious for her liking.
He asks too many questions. Keeps disappearing at odd hours. And kisses like a man determined to land himself on the naughty list.
Edie can’t decide whether Jonah is hiding a broken heart…or a criminal secret. But as the attraction between them grows impossible to ignore, Jonah realizes solving the case may be easier than protecting his own heart. Because somewhere between late-night stakeouts, stolen kisses, and Christmas magic, the undercover cowboy forgot one important rule:Never fall in love while on assignment.
Jonah is a heartwarming cowboy Christmas romance featuring an undercover cop, forced proximity, grumpy-sunshine chemistry, holiday magic, and a swoony happily ever after filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Santa’s Got a Secret…After ticking off his boss, lawman Jonah Stevenson finds himself undercover as a department store Santa. But when it comes to the merriest of holidays, Jonah is a bit of a Grinch.
The last thing he wants is to spend three weeks taking toy requests from toddlers in Rascal, Texas. Or fighting his red hot attraction to the cutest little elf this side of the North Pole. Edie Preston loves her seasonal job as Santa’s helper.
But something about this year’s Santa is definitely off. For one thing, he’s acting pretty darned suspicious and there have been a rash of burglaries in the store. For another, the man is sexy as sin.
Edie can’t figure out if Jonah is really a thief in disguise, or the perfect Christmas present she’s hankering for…Jonah is the twelfth and final book in the heartwarming Texas Rascals series.
